The Western Association of Map Libraries will host this year’s conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, between August 9th and August 12th, 2023. Each presentation will be 15-20 minutes in length. Presenters are expected to attend the conference in person as there will not be an option to present virtually.
This year’s conference will not revolve around any particular theme. In previous years, WAML has accepted presentations on a variety of topics related to map and GIS librarianship, including:
- Teaching and learning
- Multidisciplinary collaboration or partnerships
- Historical topics
- Equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice
- Library services and resources
- Project or collection highlights
Please use the form below to submit your presentation information before the deadline of Friday, April 28th. Submissions will be reviewed and presenters will be contacted by Friday, May 12th.
