We’re going to Santa Fe!

Join us on a field trip up to Santa Fe on Saturday, September 28th! We will start from the Downtown Albuquerque Rail Runner Station (aka Alvarado Transportation Center). The train we will take departs at 10:08 am. (Tickets are not included in the field trip price.)

You can purchase individual tickets through the Rio Metro site. The option you want is a ”5 Zone Day Pass Online Full Fare” (Downtown Albuquerque to Santa Fe Depot). This pass can be used all day, allowing you to leave whenever you like. If you purchase the ticket online, the adult fare is $9, (there are other option available). Check the Train Fare page to see what may work for you. We’ll arrive at the Santa Fe Depot stop in Santa Fe at 11:49.

The first stop is lunch at Capital Coal Neighborhood Eatery. (Lunch is not included in the field trip price.)

After lunch, there will be time to walk around the area and venture to the Plaza. We will then Explore the map collection at the New Mexico History Museum for an hour . We will meet again at 2:30pm for a guided walking tour of historic downtown Santa Fe. After the tour, feel free to walk around and discover a little more at your leisure. Maybe you want to grab a bite to eat before heading back to Albuquerque or treat yourself to a Margarita?
