WAML 2024

WAML 2024: Albuquerque, New Mexico | September 25th-28th

The Western Association of Map Libraries (WAML) conference will be held in-person in Albuquerque, New Mexico on the University of New Mexico campus from Wednesday, September 25th – Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

Virtual Symposium | October 10th

This year, we’re trying something new, with the conference being held in person on the above dates, with the AGM, Exec meeting and Sounding Board being the only hybrid components. Then, we’ll host a virtual symposium day on October 10th for those who wish to present virtually, including a conference sum up, poster presentations and more.

Many thanks to our conference sponsors:

UNM Libraries- Land Acknowledgement

Founded in 1889, the University of New Mexico sits on the traditional homelands of the Pueblo of Sandia. The original peoples of New Mexico Pueblo, Navajo, and Apache since time immemorial have deep connections to the land and have made significant contributions to the broader community statewide. We honor the land itself and those who remain stewards of this land throughout the generations and also acknowledge our committed relationship to Indigenous peoples. We gratefully recognize our history.
