About the IB

The Information Bulletin (IB) is the official journal of the Western Association of Map Libraries.  The IB is an open access journal issued three times each year: Issue number 1 in November, Issue number 2 in March, and Issue number 3 in July. Issues beginning with Volume 46, number 1 (November 2014) are available online only.  Issues prior to Volume 46, number 1 were published in paper format.  All online content is available at no charge.

Copyright and Author’s Rights

The Information Bulletin (IB) licenses its work through the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license. Users of IB content are allowed to read, download, copy, redistribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author.  If you reuse the content, you must give appropriate credit; you may not use or redistribute the material for commercial purposes.

Authors of IB content retain the copyright to their work through the use of Creative Commons licenses.  The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license applies to all content unless authors elect to choose a more restrictive license for their work.
