For those attending the conference in Vancouver, there are accommodation options on and off the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus.
On-Campus Accommodations
WAML has secured fairly affordable accommodations on UBC’s campus so we can be close to the conference rooms and other campus amenities. Please reserve your room as soon as possible to ensure rooms stay affordable. Accommodations can get pricey in Vancouver especially during the summer months.

- Gage Studio Rooms have been held for WAML attendees (not Signature Studio)
- The current WAML group rate is $159.00 CAD plus tax per night. Once these rooms are booked, the rooms will be available at the market rate during the time you reserve.
- Rooms are close to public transit. Parking passes can also be purchased when checking in. The cost for parking is $16 per day.
- There are accessible suites available in the Gage Apartments. If you need an accessible suite, reach email conference@waml.org.

Off-Campus Accommodations

The most popular area in Vancouver to stay is Downtown, where you will find many of Vancouver’s popular tourist attractions like Stanley Park and Gastown. Hotels there are best booked early as accommodations can fill up during Vancouver’s cruise ship season. Downtown hotel options include:
